About Us
Turning Point Clinic, at The Isbourne Wellbeing Centre in Cheltenham, is run by Jonathan and Rosemary Lawrence who have a wealth of experience over many years, having seen between them tens of thousands of patients of all ages during their long careers as dedicated healthcare professionals.
We believe that gentle, safe and effective complementary medicine has a vital role to play in the medicine of the future, and it is our mission to help patients discover good health and well-being and to prevent and relieve the pain and distress caused by ill health. Our methods are safe, gentle, non invasive and we use the latest up-to-date holistic approaches.
Who we are
Jonathan is an experienced Osteopath, Craniosacral therapist, and Homeopathic Mesotherapy practitioner. He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1985.
He has worked in London and Bath and currently also practices in Devon. He runs postgraduate practitioner courses in Craniosacral Therapy and Homeopathic Mesotherapy and has devised courses and workshops on advanced soft tissue manipulation.
An accomplished speaker, Jonathan has lectured extensively in the UK and abroad to a variety of participants in orthodox medicine and complementary medicine, including the European School of Osteopathy. In 2008 he addressed 750 delegates from around the world at the Advancing Osteopathy Conference. In 2012 he lectured at the Royal College of Physicians in London on the subject of Homotoxicology and Biopuncture. He regularly contributes to professional journals and magazines.
Jonathan is registered by the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. He is also a member of the Society of Homotoxicology and Anti-Homotoxic Therapy GB.
One of the country’s leading Homotoxicology practitioners, Rosemary blends her experience in Homeopathy with her expertise in Bioelectric Function Diagnostics (or Biodiagnostics). Biodiagnostics uses a low-voltage EAV machine to scan acupuncture points, enabling Rosemary to identify organs or systems of the body which are under-functioning or are experiencing infection or inflammation. Her intuitive approach, informed by her experience and expertise, and always listening to the patient, enables her to conduct this EAV assessment to prescribe constitutional and symptomatic remedies for a wide range of health conditions.
Rosemary’s interest in homeopathy began during a career break from teaching to bring up her family. Having seen first-hand how well it worked on children, she started training in homeopathy and went on to study homotoxicology after seeing the dramatic improvement of a family member with ME.
A qualified teacher, Rosemary has authored accredited courses in BFD and homotoxicology which she teaches and mentors to postgraduate students. She is registered with The British Register of Complementary Practitioners and the Society for Homotoxicology and Anti-Homotoxic Therapy (UK).
Lisa has always been passionate about health and wellbeing.
Having navigated a successful corporate career in her 20s with the help of acupuncture and yoga she trained with the British Wheel of Yoga. She subsequently came to Devon to teach Yoga and become a Biodynamic Farmer.
The Biodynamic farming tradition is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming working the land incorporating homeopathy.
Lisa says: “I discovered Homotoxicology as a patient. My family and I have now been using it for more than 15 years. In so doing I discovered my new calling and having completed my apprenticeships with Rosemary 5 years ago, I took over the Devon branch of Turning Point Clinics from Rosemary when she relocated to Cheltenham."
Lisa has successfully expanded her business, establishing clinics in Devon, Yeovil and Southampton.

Growing up in France, Dominique was introduced to complementary health and alternative medicine from an early age, as her family GP was also a homeopathic practitioner and acupuncturist. She did not use mainstream medicine until she moved to the UK.
While living in Cornwall, she explored and studied a number of complementary health disciplines and became a Reiki Master in the early 2000s. She also received Native American teachings for 10 years, which introduced her to different perspectives on health and healing. In addition she has practised Qigong for may years.
Having benefitted from cranial osteopathic treatment for many years, Dominique became interested in studying more physical complementary therapies. She studied Craniosacral Therapy with Jonathan Lawrence, therapeutic massage and myofascial release at the Exeter School of Bodywork, Kinesiology with TASK, and, more recently, Gunaphoresis therapy under Jonathan's guidance.
An avid learner, Dominique continues to pursue her interest in Kinesiology with Touch for Health; she sees this discipline to be highly complementary to Craniosacral Therapy and energy work. She is also completing a course in Homotoxicology to support her treatment work with Guna therapy.

Before becoming a Craniosacral Therapist, Sarah enjoyed a rewarding career in teaching. Working with both children and adults has given her a deep appreciation of how differently people experience life's challenges, and how important it is to feel heard, understood, and supported.
Sarah says “My passion for helping others grew from my own personal journey. Following a serious period of ill health, I experienced first-hand how profoundly gentle, hands-on therapy can support the body's natural ability to heal and restore balance. That experience led me to train as a Craniosacral Therapist.
I treat patients experiencing anxiety stress and neuro diverse issues as well as pain and that comes from a deep understanding of stresses that people face not only from my own life but from being a mum and a teacher. I continue to develop my knowledge through ongoing learning, believing there is always more to discover.
Every person's story is unique, and my aim is to provide a calm, compassionate space where they feel listened to, supported, and empowered on their own journey towards greater health and wellbeing.”

What Our Clients say
I recently took my daughter, Ava Grace, to Jonathan Lawrence at Turning Point Clinics for help with her ongoing back and knee problems following several horse-riding accidents and her physically demanding job at an equestrian centre... I can wholeheartedly recommend Jonathan’s craniosacral therapy for immediate relief from aches, pains, and tension. Ava didn’t expect to walk out feeling pain-free or experiencing the deepest level of relaxation she’d ever felt. Jonathan really is a miracle worker.
